Staff across NHS trust in England are being urged to take part in the NHS Armed Forces healthcare training and education programme sessions during Armed Forces Week 2026.

The programme, delivered by Regional Trainers from the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance, aims to develop a skilled, educated, and inclusive care workforce, able to meet the evolving needs of the Armed Forces community.

Armed Forces Week 2026 is a national awareness period held across the UK each year, providing an opportunity to recognise the service and contribution of serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and their families.
